This weekend my mom and dad came to visiti us from Aurora. We had so much fun with them and are so glad they came to see us. They mostly just wanted to see Porter, but can you blame them? We had lots of fun taking them around Laramie, going to see the sights of Cheyenne, and just hanging out!! We love you guys!

Ajay'e

My little niece Ajay'e has to go in for surgery on her heart today. I just wanted to write a little post and let my sister know that I am thinking of her and Ajay'e and I know everything will go ok!!

Laramie and Law school

Our new place

For all of you that don't know we moved to wonderful Laramie, WY last month. Kevin began life as a full-time law student and is doing really great. At first I was a little doubtful that I would like Laramie. Every time I told someone that's were we were going they always had something horrible to say about the place. However, I have to say that I have enjoyed it so far. It reminds me a lot of Cedar City, just a small college town. So far the wind hasn't been to bad, and I haven't had to buy to many cans of white rain to hold the hair in place. It has been great weather, not to hot and not to cold. Believe it or not it is the perfect size for me not to big, not to small. We moved into a little twin home, it was hard to get use to at first because I was use to a house. But, we are adjusting and I am finally starting to get some decorations on the walls and trying to make this place feel more like a home. We have been blessed to be in a really great ward out here, and have met some really great people. Law-school has been hard to adjust to, it requires a lot of Kev's time, but he is doing a great job at sharing his time. It has been an adjustment to be away from family and friends. Especially since Porter came along, I want to share him with everyone. However, I know we are here for a reason and we are having a great time so far.

Our Little Man

So as I said before our lives were greatly blessed on July 22, 2008 when our little man Porter Lynn was born. I remember the first time I set eyes on him, I remember thinking wow I created that and he is so beautiful!! Even though he looked slightly like a little old man, he was the cutiest baby I had ever seen. He was a little guy weighing in at six pounds eight ounces and was twenty-one inches long. It took us eight hours of labor and two hours of pushing to get him here, but we did it. He is now just a little under two months old, and I have enjoyed everday I have been given with him. He is smiling now and making cute little sounds!! We love him so much.

Understanding Blogging!!!

So I have been trying to figure out this blog thing for some time now. I don't have it down yet, but I am slow caughting on. If any of you have any suggestions on easy ways to make your page cute I would love them. Remember i am challenged when it comes to these type of things so the easier the better.
