Hey, Hey We are Back....

It's been awhile time flies bye I guess that will be my excuse! I have some things to caught up on like my big little man Porter and some new milestones he has reached,and my big pregnant belly that continues to grow. First thing first I am still pregnant for those of you that were wondering! We went to the doctor last week and she told me nothing much was happening, what the crap! The little diva is still pretty high so with my luck I will probably go late. We are super ready to meet our little Eva and begin life as a family of four. Here are some recent pictures of Eva and I at 38 weeks:

In Porter News:

*Porter got his first hair cut. Yes, he is two and this was his first haircut, you heard me right! His dad shaved his head at first it was super short and I was not happy about it. But, after a couple of months it has grown out a little and it makes him look like such a big man. Here are some of his best Zoolander shots:

*We also began Potty Training last month and with the help of his great daycare teachers we have had great success. He has really taken to it and is doing such a great job, I think we are almost to the point we can ditch the pull-ups and move on to big boy underwear! He has woken up dry everyday for a week and is staying dry throughout the day. It has also made huge improvements on his serve constipation problems. I never thought I would ever blog about my kid pooping or that pooping would make me so happy! But, it does so what the heck!!!! He has been taken off exlax everyday and is doing great. We got him the book Everybody Poops and it has helped a lot, he gets on the toilet, reads the book, and poops like a champ.

Well, that is it for now I will blog later about some other important things.

Sunday Thought.......

This Hymn couldn't be more appropriate at this time in our lives, it fits perfectly!

It may not be on the mountain’s height,Or over the stormy sea;
It may not be at the battle’s front, My Lord will have need of me;
But if by a still, small voice He calls,To paths that I do not know,
I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Thine,
I’ll go where You want me to go.

31 Weeks and Counting....

So I realize throughout this pregnancy I have been a slacker at documenting it. Last time I posted about it I was 14 weeks pregnant and still pretty sick. Boy, am I glad that stage has past and now I am to the fun part.

So now I am at the end of my pregnancy and everything is going great. Only nine more weeks until we can meet this little one and we couldn't be more excited. Here I am at 31 weeks! Notice how Porter loves to be a part of the picture he cracks me up.

Here is a picture at 32 weeks with Porter...

On a side note at least this time I didn't get span the nation nose. With Porter I gained 25 pounds in my nose, it was the weirdest thing!

Things to remember about this Pregnancy...

* I am still craving tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, salad, and as of lately artichokes--I guess there are worse things to crave. But I also can't get enough of Hersey's Cookies and Creme candy bars and Dr. Pepper (don't judge me I know caffeine is not good to have, so I limit this one)
* Baby girl is a mover and a shaker- she kicks the crap out of me, but I love it!
* I have been doing Fit For Two Yoga and Strength Training classes this pregnancy with some co-workers. It has been a lot of fun and has helped me feel good about my pregnancy curves.
* I have been extremely sleepy this pregnancy, I don't remember feeling that way with Porter. I am usually asleep my nine o'clock every night. This could be do to the fact that I have a two year old to keep up with and teach a three year old preschool class all day!
* Porter loves to talk about baby sister and at night when we say our I love You's he always says, " And Porter loves baby sister too!" It melts my heart, I can only hope those feelings are the same once she arrives.
* I have acid reflux when I am not pregnant really bad, but this baby as tripled it if that is at all possible. It burns like a mother bear!
* For those of you who don't know we are having a girl, I couldn't be more excited to dress her up and put bows in her hair.
* We are pretty sure we are going to name her either Eva Grace or Eva Vilate, but we have some other names like Ella,or Ayla on reserve just incase she doesn't look like a Eva.

And just on a side note Chad and Amanda had their baby girl a few weeks ago! Claira Kae she is adorable, congrats!!!!

Maybe Santa isn't so scary................

This is the result we got last year when we took Porter to see the jolly old fat man...

To say the least Porter was not at all impressed with Santa!

What a difference a year can make, this year Porter thinks he is the coolest thing ever. Porter has joyfully climbed upon his lap twice, and both times he was so brave. He told Santa what he wanted the list included flip-flops, a red car, a train, and a tractor. This was the result this year....

Great quote......

I read this quote somewhere and thought it was really great, "The point of marriage, I think, is to create meaning, with every happy and sad memory, every hardship overcome, every kind act, every moment of acceptance, every triumph, every child, grandchild, pet, and friend you accumulate together. The point of staying married, is to have a witness to your whole life, to the meaning you built. In the end, you can look at your spouse and say: Somebody knew me-- and I knew them."
