Summer time ....

So my last post was at the very first day of the month and 29 days later I am finally getting around to posting again. This summer is just flying bye, I hate it, SLOW DOWN!!! I have loved every minute of staying home with my little man this summer. We have had so much fun together, so much fun being back in Utah, and so much fun with all the time we get with Kevin! A lot has happened in 29 days, so here is our summer caught up.....

Porter and me have spent a whole lot of days at the park. Climbing up and down the slide, swinging on the swings and being goofy!

We have feed a lot of ducks.....

We have used up a lot of side-walk chalk.....

We've gotten our hands dirty playing in the dirt....

We made a delicious trip to Krispie Kreme Doughnuts.....

We kept Grandpa Daniels turtles feed.....

We went to a Concert in the Park....

Played with cousins....

Went to a couple of story times at the library....

I finished a class at Weber State.....

We had a weekend get away to Park City, lots of days at the swimming pool, and family reunion with the Price's at Raging Waters! Those pictures I will have to put up later!

We also have had our feel of summer movies! Did I say that I am a movie junky, I love them!

My favorite of the summer so far....

A great movie, great actors, great twist!!!

Movie I want to see next....

Worst Movie I have seen so far....

It will give you a few belly laughs, but it's pretty bad!

The best part about this summer is having Kevin home with us every Friday. We have loved all the time we have spent with him! We also, love being back in Utah and being amongst all our peeps!! We love you guys!

Things, Things, and More Things.......

So, since I last posted we have had some fun summer changes occur! First, things first we are out of that stupid Wyoming wind for the summer! We moved to Layton and in with Kevin's family for the summer. Kevin began work a couple of weeks ago for West Valley doing Civil Law and he has really been enjoying it. Porter and I joined him last Friday and we are excited to have the summer off. I really missed just being a mommy so I am happy to have the opportunity again this summer! We also had a great Memorial Day weekend fishing, spending time with both sides of the family, and getting to see my Grandpa. We are so glad he is doing better, and is closer to us! Here are some pictures of Grandpa and Porter that I absolutely adore!

Porter kicking Grandpa Lloyd's tires. It was one of many things Uncle James and Aunt Chelsee taught Porter this weekend!

All of us with Grandpa Wheeler, we sure do love him!

This is my new favorite picture, it is priceless.

We are so excitied to have a summer home with our families!

The things we pass down.....

Before I had a kid I always wondered what traits they would get from me. Would they be a nervous Nellie, would they be bad at math, would they love to dance, or have my good ole' belly laugh? Well, I discovered this weekend what it is that I passed down, Porter inherited my major love for a good foot rub. My whole life I have absolutely loved someone to rub my feet. That person was usually my dad, THANKS DAD! Well, I gave Porter one the other night, before bed and he is now addicted. Tonight, after his bath he went and got the lotion, handed it to me, and put his tiny little feet up on my lap. It made me laugh out loud, he is the cutest little fart!

Sunday Thought.....

Our Path of Duty By: Keith B. McMullin

" All that we have comes from God....In and of ourselves we are but a lifeless lump of clay. Life, intelligence, wisdom, judgement, power to reason, all are gifts of God to the children of men. He gives uus our physical strength as well as our mental powers....We should honor God with our intelligence, with our strength, with our understanding, with our wisdom, and with all the power that we possess. We should seek to do good in the world. This is our duty."- President Joseph F. Smith

Kevin + Trisha + Five Years = Craziness, Adventure, and One Really Cute Kid!

Five Years Ago Tomorrow May 20, 2005 We were busy doing this.....

Man that must mean I am getting really old, or maybe I just married young! I'll go with the later of the two. We have had our share of adventures, I've had my share of covered wagons, well lets be honest you've had your share too! We've had lots of laughs, clocked at least a thousand hours watching reality TV together! We've moved six times, celebrated two college graduations, owned our first home, gotten through two years of Law School, and had one unbelievable cute kid! It's been a great ride, thanks for taking it with me, I love you!

"Marriage in its truest sense, is a partnership of equals, with neither exercising dominion over the other, but, rather, with each encouraging and assisting the other in whatever responsibilities and aspirations he or she might have."

Sunday Thoughts......

We all search for happiness, and we all try to find our own " happily ever after." The truth is, God knows how to get there! And, he has created a mapfor you; He knows the way. He is your beloved Heavenly Father, who seeks your good, your happiness. he desires with all the love of a perfect and pure Father that you reach your supernal destination. The map is available to all. It gives explicit directions of what to do and where to go to everyone who is striving to come unto Christ and "stand as a witness of God at all times and in all things, and in all places." All you have to do is trust your Heavenly Father. Trust Him enough to follow his plan!"
