Eva Grace Daniels is finally here and this is her story! Little Eva Grace was due on March 25Th which came quickly and left quickly with no baby. We waited and waited patiently( as patiently as you can) for her to arrive. I walked and walked and waited for contractions to come that never did. Kevin's parents came up for Conference weekend hoping to be there for their first granddaughters birth and they got their wish. Sunday I slept all day, I was so tired. That night we set down to watch my favorite show Sister Wives and I started having small contractions but they were coming every ten minutes. I didn't get my hopes up because I was sure these would go away just like all the others. They kept coming and slowly became stronger, then before I knew it they were three minutes apart and they were serious business. About ten o'clock Kevin and I decided this was real and made our way to Ivinson Memorial Hospital. An hour later I had my epidural and by 1:30 I was ready to start pushing. I pushed and throw-up for an hour and a half and at 3:30 exactly on Monday April 4Th she was born.
She weighed 7 lbs 6 oz
And was 20 1/2 inches long
Named Eva Grace Daniels after her Grandma Daniels
Porter came to the hospital the next morning to meet his baby sister. He came in to the room with the biggest smile on his face. He saw me holding her, looked at be with a huge grin, and said, " Mom that's my baby sister!" He wasn't shy he climbed right up and gave her a kiss, it was the cutest thing.
Mom and her babies
I have had plenty of jokes about what the our mailman or hometeacher looks like, because of her dark complexion and hair. She was born with the perfect Mohawk infact Porter called her " The Mohawk Baby."
Eva has been such a great baby. She hardly ever cries and she sleeps pretty good for a newborn.
And of course I have had so much fun playing dress-up, here is my little diva in her tutu that her Auntie Chelsee made for her....
And we will end our birthday story with a picture of the little man playing Avatar
