The things I know........
So a few days ago I was blog -stocking and I came across this blog. I went into it and read their story and watched the video they had. It had a great affect on me and made me so grateful for some of the truths I hold dear. First, immediately after watching this video and reading their blog I walked into my little boys room, and gave him a huge kiss. I watched him sleep for a good five minutes and then got down on my knees and thanked my Heavenly Father from the bottom of my heart for giving him to me, for his health, and for his sweet spirit that feels my home. I know that children are the greatest blessing our Heavenly Father can give to us. They are what this life is all about! I have my days where nap time can't seem to come fast enough, but after seeing this I always stop myself and remember that some people would love the chance to be in my shoes. I am so blessed, so grateful I have this little one - he makes me so happy!!!
Also, given the events that have occurred in our family this past week, they have caused me to greatly reflect upon eternal families. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have that my family will be together forever. Our bonds reach far beyond this life and into the next. I can not begin to imagine what it would be like to loose a love one and think that, that is it. I know it's not it, I will see them again. For that small and simple knowledge I am so incredibly thankful. For those of you who would like to view this site it's link is: bloom-where-planted.blogspot.com/,the video at the end of the page is really neat, the music they have on there is beautiful, it will bring I tear to your eye. However, it will make yo
u so
thankful for all you have.

A tribute to Grandpa Price

Last night our Grandpa Price lost his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the people he loved the most and we are positive he is surrounded now by those who he loved that went before him. We could not be there in person to say goodbye, but I was so grateful that Kevin got to talk to his grandpa on the phone that day. He got to tell him how much he loved him and say his goodbye. Grandpa Price was eighty-nine years old, he lived a full and good life. He was married to the love of his life Elizabeth Price for sixty-nine years, in October they would have celebrated their seventh anniversary. We were so fortunate to have loved and know this wonderful man. We are so glad that our little Porter got to know his great grandpa. Grandpa Price loved to sing him nursery songs and show him the fish at his house. Porter would laugh at Grandpa and smile the biggest smiles when he would sing to him. Just a couple of weeks ago, when Grandpa was pretty sick we went to see him. He was determined to sing his nursery songs to Porter, even though it took a lot out of him. Porter loved every second of it. We love you Grandpa Price and we will miss
you.

Ten things I Can't Live Without.......
#10- WHITE RAIN HAIRSPRAY: you heard me I love me some white rain hairspray. It's the cheapest, holds the best, and smells the prettiest. Who needs to buy ten dollar hairspray, when you can by this for a dollar. Plus, its mentioned in the song " Hick Town!"

#9-REALITY TV: There are so many "closet reality TV fans" out there. Well, I am out of the closet, I am not to proud to admit I love to watch reality TV at night time. Some of my favorites include Seventeen Kids and Counting, and just this season The Bachelor! Yea sure some of it might be fake, but who really cares - its relaxing to watch.

#8-ROOT BEER: All I have to say is there is nothing like a good old Root Beer on a Saturday night! Now I have to keep this one at a minimum - I can't be chugging one right after another-but I really love Root Beer.

#7- EXERCISE TV: So most days I don't feel like going out to the gym. On those days I just flip it to exercise TV and work out with them. I really enjoy doing Pilate's it is my favorite and always makes me feel so refreshed.

#6- THE SCRIPTURES: Everyday I start out with reading the scriptures my day always goes so smooth. I have to admit that I don't do this everyday, but when I do it sure does help.

#5-THE OFFICE: This one looks kind of trivial coming after the scriptures, but hey it gives me a good laugh every Thursday night!

#4- THE DISHWASHER: Actually, I can live without this one, considering I did for three years! This is the first time since I have been married, I have had one. However, know that I see just how great it really is - I never want to go back!
#3: BIG SWEATERS: There is just nothing like a good old hoodie. You can wear them during the day, @ night, in the mountains or in the city!

#2- OUR FAMILIES: Since I have moved away from them, I have realized just how much I love them all! We have the greatest families, there is nothing better then going home and hanging out with them.

A quick trip home
This past week we got to go back to Utah to watch Kevin's little brother Jeb wrestle in the State Tournament. It was a lot of fun to watch Kevin get so into wrestling, he is pretty passionate about it. Jeb ended up finishing fourth, he was a little disappointed in himself-considering he beat the state champ three times this year. However, fourth is great and we are really proud of him. Porter even got into it wearing his " future state champ" shirt and cheering on his Uncle Jeb. We were also able to see my family. My mom and dad came up and we spent Saturday with them in Provo. We had lots of fun staying in a hotel, shopping, and eating lots of good food with them! Thanks mom and dad for everything this weekend. It is always so nice to go home and see our family, we really love it!
Porter @ Cabela's -he loves all the animals there
